JAMES HYMAN GALLERY

James Hyman Gallery is delighted to share a selection of seasonal offers on gallery publications. Please scroll down for more details.

For our first seasonal offer, we have a limited number of copies of Linda McCartney: Photographs available at 20% off. The special publication, limited to 1000 individually numbered copies, is hardback and bound by hand in cloth.

This publication beautifully reproduces all 28 pictures in the exhibition Linda McCartney. Photographs. It also reproduces a photograph of Linda McCartney taken by Paul McCartney. It includes a new essay by Paul McCartney and specially commissioned texts by Sir Peter Blake, Paul Caffell, Brian Clarke and Humphrey Ocean.

A limited number of platinum prints are also available. Please see here for details.

Derrick Greaves: From Kitchen Sink to Shangri-La was the first major monograph on one of the most important British painters of the last half century. The now out-of-print publication fetches upwards of £70 online, but we have a few copies available (signed by the author!) for £35.

Newsletter subscribers can use the code JS20 to take 20% off the price of Jo Spence's thesis project on fairytales and photography at RRB Photobooks. The work is available in hardback with an accompanying book with a preface by Marina Warner and an essay by Frances Hatherley. The cloth-bound hardcover is a limited edition of 450 copies. The facsimile is also available in paperback.

We also have a number of copies of James Hyman's out-of-print publication, The Battle for Realism: Figurative Art in Britain during the Cold War 1945-1960. Based on James' PhD thesis, the book was widely acclaimed as the leading study of this subject. The hardback book is available on the gallery's website at 20% off.
