Eine Vorabbesichtigung der zu versteigernden Arbeiten für die Live-Auktion und die Online-Auktion ist im Vestibül des Museums für Kunst und Gewerbe bis zum 14. November möglich.

Bereits zum vierten Mal veranstaltet die Hamburgische Kulturstiftung eine große Benefiz-Kunstauktion zugunsten der jungen Kunst- und Kulturszene Hamburgs. Erstmalig findet diese nicht nur live im Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe statt, sondern auch online. 93 hochkarätige Lose stehen bei der Live-Auktion am 15. November 2021 und bei der Online-Auktion vom 2. bis zum 16. November 2021 zur Versteigerung. Auktionatorin ist Dr. Katharina zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, Senior Director, Head of Sotheby’s Hamburg and Munich.

Die künstlerischen Positionen spannen den Bogen von Hamburger Künstler*innen wie Cordula Ditz, Gerrit Frohne-Brinkmann, Annika Kahrs, Alice Peragine, Niclas Riepshoff und Paul Spengemann bis zu großen Namen der internationalen Kunstszene, darunter Stephan Balkenhol, Angela Bulloch, Matti Braun, Birgit Brenner, Berta Fischer, Anne Imhof, William Kentridge, Jorinde Voigt, Christopher Williams und der jüngst verstorbene, wunderbare F.C. Gundlach. Am Erlös ihrer Arbeiten werden die Künstler*innen nach ihren Vorstellungen beteiligt. Die weiteren Einnahmen fließen direkt in die Förderung von Projekten junger Kunstschaffender in Hamburg.

A preview of the works to be auctioned for the live auction and the online auction is on view in the vestibule of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg through November 14, 11 am – 6 pm.

For the fourth time, the Hamburg Cultural Foundation is organizing a major charity art auction in aid of Hamburg's young art and culture scene. For the first time, this will not only take place live at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe but also online. 93 high-caliber lots will be up for auction at the live auction on 15 November 2021 and at the online auction from 2 to 16 November 2021. The auctioneer is Dr Katharina zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, Senior Director, Head of Sotheby's Hamburg and Munich.

The artistic positions range from Hamburg artists such as Cordula Ditz, Gerrit Frohne-Brinkmann, Annika Kahrs, Alice Peragine, Niclas Riepshoff and Paul Spengemann to big names of the international art scene, including Stephan Balkenhol, Angela Bulloch, Matti Braun, Birgit Brenner, Berta Fischer, Anne Imhof, William Kentridge, Jorinde Voigt, Christopher Williams and the recently deceased, wonderful F.C. Gundlach. The artists receive a share of the proceeds of their work according to their own ideas. The other proceeds go directly to supporting projects by young artists in Hamburg.
