In 2010 Hockney took one of the first iPads into Yosemite. Three works from that series are now available.  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏  ͏
In April 2010, David Hockney bought one of the first iPads. Within months he had carried it into Yosemite National Park, a landscape he had first explored with his camera in 1982, and began drawing straight from the motif. The result, The Yosemite Suite, is one of the founding bodies of work of his digital decade. The drawings were printed at scale in editions of 25, each signed by the artist. Made just a year before The Arrival of Spring, on the same device, the suite has traded far more quietly than its celebrated sister series.

Following Hockney's death in June, this is a closed body of work, and we believe it is one of the most compelling opportunities in his market today. We are delighted to offer three works from the series by private sale:
