Dear #firstname#
I hope you are well and warm. The season is coming to an end, and with it our great exhibition ‘Flowers of Romance’. The show in two acts was a special and festive way to mark the beginning of our new adventure. By letting Charlie Fox do his lovesick twisted curatorial magic the show became a true sensory and sensual feast.
The curtain will fall over the second and final act of Flowers of Romance on 20 December – still giving you a week to come see the wonderful selection of works ranging from the 17th Century to today. George Kuchar, Nan Goldin, Cosima von Bonin, Laura Owens, Cy Twombly, Calvin Marcus, Ed Ruscha, Karen Kilimnik, Hugh Hayden, Rachel Rose, Camille Blatrix, Matthew Barney, Frans Snyders,…and many more are part of the brilliant cast.
If you couldn’t be there, here is a link to the works and installation views for both chapters:
Flowers of Romance, Act One
Flowers of Romance, Act Two
You can read Charlie Fox’s interesting interview for 032c here. Accompanying the exhibition is a curated volume of pictures published by Climax Books, which can be found at the gallery, or here.
I wish you already wonderful holidays and a beautiful jump into the new year.
You’re more then welcome to visit us for the last week and I’m looking forward hearing from you again soon.
All my best,
Lodovico
