| | With his exhibition at Beyond the Streets LA titled Under the Same Sky, HuskMitNavn invites viewers to rediscover the extraordinary within the mundane and explore the interconnectedness that binds us all:I try to paint the moments that we share as humans. The ordinary, everyday situations we all experience as people, no matter who we are or where we are in the world. I like the idea that I can sit here in Copenhagen and paint people in another city since we’re all bound together under the same sky - HuskMitNavn Opening reception: September 16. 2023 | 11.00- 18.00 Exhibition period: September 17 - October 21. 2023 Beyond the Streets Gallery 434 N La Brea Ave Los Angeles CA 90036 USARead more |

| | Through the slowness of the painting,Grønne Drømme (Green Dreams) will collectively reflect on our relationship with plants, nature and the climate. You cannot consume paintings in the same rush as press photographs and quick headlines on your screen. The painting teases, resists, it asks more questions than it clarifies and it speaks not only to your desires and needs, as advertising does. The painting will also scold you, make you reflect on something or challenge your conscience. We need that kind of intimacy, closeness and calm - perhaps more than ever. - Ahmad Siyar Qasimi, artist and one of three curators of the exhibition. Participating artists include: Ahmad Siyar Qasimi, Allan Otte, Anne Sofie Meldgaard, Anette Abrahamsson, Birk Bjørlo, Casper Roshan Koch Hughes, Caroline Heje Thon, Cecilia Fiona, Emily Gernild, Johan Ankersen, Johannes Sivertsen, Kaspar Oppen Samuelsen, Kinga Bartis, Mie Mørkeberg og Peter Land Curated by: Caroline Heje Thon, Ahmad Siyar Qasimi og Johan Ankersen Opening Saturday, September 30, 2023 | 15:00 Exhibition period: October 1 - October 21, 2023 Kunstbygningen Filosoffen Filosofgangen 30 5000 Odense DenmarkRead more |

 |
| | This collaborative publication by MØ (Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted Andersen) and Fryd Frydendahl depicts the conversation between the authors, who have merged 12 years of work and friendship in words and pictures. They have travelled, worked and lived together alternately for over a decade and consider each other life partners. Through euphoria and life crises, RACING – Circles of Doubt, Squares of Light is about dreaming big and about the external as well as internal resistance that comes with constantly living life in high gear. The book contains Fryd's pictures of Karen and text written by Karen, which creates a poetic framework around the situations in which the pictures were created. From September 20 the book will be available to purchase in book stores and online. Read more |

| | Comprising forty-seven paintings created from 2017 to 2023, this inaugural monograph of Rouy's work, published by Tarmac Press, brings together selected paintings from over ten bodies of work to survey his singularly dynamic use of the human figure, which, both constrained and liberated, speaks to the extremities of our time.
