We’re thrilled to welcome Sammy Little to The Drang Gallery.

A contemporary British painter based in the Devon countryside, Sammy creates vibrant, expressive works with a distinctive sense of colour, texture and character. Her approach is instinctive and playful, with bold compositions and richly worked surfaces giving each piece its own unique energy.

Before becoming a full-time painter, Sammy spent 17 years working internationally as a Design Director and Textile Designer for leading names including adidas, Quiksilver, the NBA, the Olympics, Team GB and Xcel Wetsuits. Her work in sports and textile design continues to influence her paintings today, particularly in her bold use of colour, graphic compositions and love of texture.

Her passion for design and the ocean took her to Oregon, Biarritz and Byron Bay, experiences that broadened her creative perspective and continue to inform her work today. Sammy has since returned to Devon, where she now paints full time.
