Our next exhibition - opening during Frieze Week - brings together over 20 works spanning 400 years, charting the development of still life painting.

Historically the 'lowest' genre of painting, still life subjects have captivated artists and audiences alike for centuries. This exhibition investigates the enduring appeal and changing meaning of still life from the 16th century to today, showing the ways in which our relationships with objects and material goods have changed across time.

Featuring works by historic masters including Osias Beert the Elder, Willem Claesz. Heda, Bartolomeo Cavorozzi and Francisco de Zurbarán, 19th-century artists Henri Fantin-Latour and Victoria Dubourg, and modernist pioneers such as Pablo Picasso, Juan Gris, Nicolas de Staël, Philip Guston and Andy Warhol, alongside contemporary artists Poppy Jones and Asher Liftin.

Stand F4, The Regent's Park

October in London means one thing for the art world: the Frieze takeover. We are delighted to be taking part in Frieze Masters, with a selection of outstanding works from the 16th century to the modern era.

Old Master highlights include an unpublished Christ supported by an angel by Palma il Giovane (1548–1628), on view for the first time after considerable research. Gaspar van Wittel's (1652/53–1736) View of Frascati is another recent discovery, unique in the master's oeuvre. Moving through to the 19th century, we will present a charming panoramic watercolour of Constantinople by John Singer Sargent (1856–1925), pictured above.

The Modern section features many of the giants of 20th-century art on both sides of the Atlantic, including Pablo Picasso, Lucio Fontana, Cy Twombly and Andy Warhol. Two archetypal mirror works by Michelangelo Pistoletto reflect his unparalleled contribution to the international art scene over a career that has spanned seven decades.
